    Shipping back to S&W

I just received an e-mail telling me my pistol is on the way back with a tracking FedEx tracking number. Looks like they are getting better at keeping the customer updated on repairs and return shipping. Way to go S&W! Ed

    Shipping back to S&W

A quick question for you guys. Does S&W let you know when they are shipping the weapon back to you? E-mail notice or something? Ed

    Shipping back to S&W

The tritium insert came out of the front sight. S&W wanted me to send it back in to be fixed. From what I understand, not an unusual problem with SD's.. Ed

    Shipping back to S&W

On it's way back to S&W via FedEx. It seems the FedEx small laptop shipping box is just the right size for a Plano single pistol case. Now I wait.... Ed

    Shipping back to S&W

I have the return label to ship my pistol back to S&W, and my question is how is the best way to pack the pistol? Do you use one box, box in a box? In a pistol bag in a box? I know I am probably over thinking this. Just looking for some advice from someone who has done it. Thanks, Ed

    SD9 Tritium Night Sight

At the very least the insert does not glow anymore. So I will give S&W call and go from there. If it does go back, what is the turn around time from them? Ed

    SD9 Tritium Night Sight

I came back from the range tonight and was cleaning my gun when I found my tritium night sight insert was gone. I guess it fell out? Anyone else ever had this issue? So do I call S&W and they send me a new one, or does the pistol have to go back to S&W? Ed

    Grip for SD9

My Pachmayr Grip-Glove came in today. Very nice! The one for the M&P fits perfect on the SD9. Thanks Chuck1217 for the tip on the grip. Ed

    What is your other love?

R/C Sailplanes, my "other" job. I am a factory pilot for Airtronics and spend the summer flying in tournaments all over the Midwest and east coast. Ed

    Very nice speed loader.

Love mine, saves a bunch of time at the range. The only draw back is that all my friends try to "borrow" it when I set it down. Ed

Apex Tactical Spring Kit for the SD

Sounds like the Apex spring kit is a must do for my SD9. The aluminum trigger will also be a must have. Any ideas on price? Great stuff here in the forums! Ed

    Lasers?

I see there are people out there with the same issues as I have wearing bifocals. I think I will start looking for a laser for my SD9. Any thoughts on one for SD9? Ed

    SD9 ejection issue

Thanks guys! Well it looks like I will give it a couple of hundred more rounds and see how it goes. If it still is an issue I will send it back to S&W for a tune up. Other than that I love the SD9! Ed

    SD9 ejection issue

Hi There, I took out my new SD9 to the range last night to give it a work out. I love it except for the fact it ejects the casing back at me. One whacked me on the forehead. I searched the forum and this seems to be an known issue. Does this get better with break in, or does it need...
