Where is the Chiefs Special Semi-Auto?

Well if anybody does not know about the CS, once you put one in your hand you will never forget. Or at least I couldn't. I picked up a CS45 couple years ago for $300. Planned on reselling it and making a couple bucks. I have turned down $500. I don't know if I could ever part with it now...

We're way beyond Dremel now, Melted & Melonited 4516-1

More power to you. I am looking for a project myself. The only thing I would say to you is, make it how you want to make it. Re-sale value should not be a consideration, unless you are planning on selling it. If there are no plans to resale it, then who cares. Hope to see the finished product.

Picked up a CS 9 today

Congratulations on a great purchase. I picked up a cs45 about a year ago. Though it was a nice little piece for $300. I didn't know anything about it or what 3rd gen's were. I picked up a little throw away sticky holster to try carrying it occasionally. Needless to say after shooting it and...

    Lightweight .45 question

If you are looking for a everyday carry, you should check out the Chiefs Special .45. That is if you can find one at a reasonable price. I purchased one over a year ago. I have carried it every day since. Never once have I felt tired of carrying it. Many times I find myself touching my side...

    .45 ACP PISTOL RECOMMENDATIONS

I have been carrying a CS45 for a couple of years now. Never once has it felt too heavy, or bulky on my side. I know some people say it is a "brick." Well first of all I want a gun that I know is in my hand, and has as little recoil as possible. As a non-plastic gun it is solid, and I guess...

Did I ruin my Model 41?

I would not suggest using stainless steel brushes. But that being said, it is a brush, that will flex, and probably would not damage your barrel. I use to be a welder and anything of mine that was stainless never touched anything that was not stainless. If you use stainless with carbon steel...

    Got hold of a S&W marked U.S.N. !!?

This is like a great action movie. I can't wait now either. I just picked up a 32 hand ejector, and that is how I found this thread. Wow very interesting. :D:eek::D:eek:

    32 hand ejector?

I just picked up a 32 hand ejector. It has a 5 digit serial number and I have no clue as to how old it is, or if it is worth anything. The serial number is 952xx. Any information would be helpful. The gun is in pretty rough shape, but for under $100, I figured why not. Thanks in advance...

    Three Amigos

I am jealous. I have a CS45 and I want more. If I could find 10 more, I would buy them. And a person could carry multiples of these and be very comfortable.

Your thoughts on CS9 Chief's Special

I picked up a CS45 a couple months ago. It was $300, and I bought it to re-sale and make a quick buck. I shot it, and it was pretty amazing. I figured I would carry it a couple days then sell it. It never leaves my side now. SOOOO comfortable to carry, extra comfortable after I had a...

What guns do you carry the most?

Smith and Wesson Chiefs Special .45. Custom tuckable holster. Hollow points. Though about Hydra-shocks, but figured, if I hit them once, 99% chance the job is done. But who am I kidding, I would never fire just once. Double-tap, at minimum.

    Chief Special's

As you can see the wear in the picture. Like I said, it is a carry gun, and who cares. I just want it to last me forever.

    I have a gripe

Life is too short to be unhappy. Just remember if you can't have fun, don't do it. If you don't like the way something is, it will change, and any day you wake up on the right side of the dirt is a good day. Some people are not happy unless they are unhappy. As for what I said about change...

    Chief Special's

I recently purchased a CS45. Love it. Got it for $300 used, bought it to make money, but carried it a couple days and loved it. Needless to say I hope to have it forever. I see there are a lot of people out there that have the 3rd gen bug, as I seem to have been bitten by it to. I need...

    Darn you 3rd gens!!!!

Hello, My name is Mike and I am an addict. I guess you could say that dumb luck got me. I walked into my local store, and was just browsing. TOO MUCH here TOO MUCH there. Then I saw a little S&W, with a little wear. I ask to see it, and it said Chiefs Special on the side. Smart...

    My new .45s

I recently purchased a CS45. In a word....AWESOME!!! I do not understand why they stopped making this gun. When I bought it I picked up a cheap Stickey Holster. Never heard of it before, but for $16, why not try it. Not real crazy about the holster, but my CS goes on my side when I get...

New Big Dog grips for CS45

Did the Big Dog grips help with recoil? I recently purchased a CS45, and there is not much recoil already. If the grips help any I would buy them instantly. Any less recoil would make a Red Rider Daisy BB gun kick harder.
