clean all the grease out of the lever hole pull out the guide rod and use Q-tips to get the grease out.I had a hard time with mine until I got all the grease out when its dry it pulls right out. help
Mine also went right in. I think the trigger feels more solid and just feels better.I also feel that apex trigger much safer in design than the hinged S&W trigger if something should snag the trigger.
I don't think you are supposed to lube the striker. The lube will get dirty and bind up the striker.I would try to buff and shine the striker spring as best I could to remove some friction and leave it dry.
The stock M&P trigger return spring is a little lighter than the stock SD spring but stronger then the apex spring and fits the gun just fine and is only $3
I tried to order a spare trigger return spring for a SD9VE and the S&W rep told me that they don't have a parts list yet for them and you cant order any spare parts. The gun has to be shipped back to them for any parts to be repaired .This was a month ago when I called.
I know you shouldn't have to buy parts for a new gun but Apex sells a Failure Resistant Extractor that seams to fix the issue you guys are having https://apextactical.com/store/product-info.php?pid31.html
I just sent them a E-mail. I was just asking to see if anybody else compared them side by side. Its just weird that on the APEX site they list two different sears and mine are the same they even have the same "R" stamped on the side of the sears.
I thought that the 45 had a different sear than the 9,.357,40? My new FS45 has the exact same sear as the one I just changed out of FS9.I want to order a APEX sear but which one?
