I have the SD40VE and love it! I about 800 rds through it now with not a single ftf or even a little hicup. I use it for cc but only during the colder months. The 9 barrel in the 40 slide is too loose and the 40 barrel in the 9 slide wont even fit. Also the mags wont even interchange. There is a keyway cutout on the side of the mags. The 9 fits in the 40 frame but will pull out with out hitting the mag release and the 40 mag won't even fit in the 9...

I finally have both SD9VE and SD40VE guns. There has been alot of discussion on here about barrel swapping the two. I pulled the slides off both last night and tried it first hand. Its a no go gents.
