Missouri #1 Ranger bullet crimp groove

Mid Atlantic Bullet makes that same one. I like that that small crimp groove. I actually prefer it. I've used it in .357 and never had them work loose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For non magnum loads I use 5.7 grains of universal. With a 158 grain bullet. Shoots great and very accurate.

5.7 grains of universal with a 158 cast bullet works well for me. Good accuracy out of my 686.

    Powder Coating

Like said castbullets has a whole page devoted to alternatives. I tried it now that all I use. Clean dies and your gun isn't all gummed up. I have good results with Harbor freight powder I really haven't had anyneed to look any further. And for 399 a pound you really can't beat it.

    powder coated bullets pt2

Powder coating has it's lovers and haters. I do it and like it started with the piglet method now just a dry shake and bake. Works can argue with that, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm using them in 45 not for the leading issues. But there is no smoke from burning bullet lube . They work great I cast and tumble coat them 500 at a time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    357 Mag with 158gr LSWC

I've been loading 5.7 of universal with a 158 grain bullet and it shoots well. It was a lot more fun to shoot than I thought it would be and accurate. I bought it for 45 auto didn't like it so glad I found a use for it.

Lee Pro Auto-Disk and Unique Help

I use the discs and get good results. I fill the measure let it sit for a bit to settle the powder. But yes I always check with a scale. Universal was the only that seemed off from the corresponding disc # for me. In the back of lees book there is a chart for the conversions

What's the second best powder for 38 special?

I like universal for 38. I bought 4 lbs for 45 auto but use it more for 38 and non magnum 357s. I've been shooting 5.7 grains of universal with 158 grain bullet in a 357 case a little more fun than 38 and very accurate.
