I am looking to get a shield 45 (as my EDC), but I am jumping back and forth between the standard shield 45 and the shield 45 performance center. Do you guys think that the shield 45 performance center model is worth the addition 100 bucks or so more?

I have been carrying my Shield 45 as my EDC weapon, it have a safety (only one available at the time). I never engage it and drill sweeping the safety down (with my thumb) when I draw. I have been told to glue the safety down in the un-engage position just to be sure. What do you guys...

I think that the real point should be, just because you see a video on line- it doesn’t make it the correct way to do anything.Alway refer to the manual.

I have both the shield 9mm and the 45acp, they both have the safety and with the help of two or three drops of clear Gorilla Glue, the problem is gone ( I have never sold any of my pistols, but even if there is a new owner, he can’t engage it ).

If you can’t find the S&W Rev. which you want w/out the internal lock, you could get the model which you want and just re-move the internal lock and put a plug in the hole. (Save the removed part, it can be re-installed for re-sale)
