.40 for two reasons. U can have a 9mm barrel for it. And get both in 1 gun. Plus most grown men can't handle the recoil of the .40. So they get a 9mm. Which means there no use for a .45acp with more recoil.

Im biased when it comes to the black box. I've seen more trouble come from those. That being said, my shield .40 is from a blue box. Along with the factory 9mm barrel for the conversion. This thing has been flawless since day 1.

This stuff right here. Hands down the most quiet and accurate ammo ive found. Thats with or without the suppressor. Most people just want quiet. But i myself like both quietness and accuracy.

IMO, no sir. Because in certain situations u may not want to give away ur position. I know some lasers come with a pressure switch. SO when u squeeze the grip the laser activates. A manual laser could be different, as u could turn it off an on if u chose.

Yes they do but dang thats expensive. I just paid $2.99 for a box of 50 rds here at the LGS. I actually got about 300rds just to try them out. All in all, very good ammo and accurate.

I'm still enjoying my Shield .40 and the factory 9mm barrel. After all these years, not a single problem. By far the best of both worlds.

Local Cabelas and Bass Pro is slap empty. Not even an AR on the shelf. Wal-mart had a little 9mm left this after noon. .223, .22lr and .45acp is gone dry. Sad part is we have had .22lr in stock on the shelves for a few years now. =-( I guess its a good thing Ive got enough ammo to last me...
