    Female shooter: 610 5” vs 625 5” vs 686 6”

I won't stray from the initial post in regard models mentioned. Without a doubt the 625 is king for numerous reasons. First of all, the cylinder weight...far less with a fluted .45 hole. Solid, unfluted cylinders weigh more, and the smaller the hole the more they weigh. They look good to...

    25-9

Good find on the 25-9. I usually find that configuration in the 25-7, but the 25-9 version does show up from time to time. Can't beat the 25-9 in any format but for carrying I love the 4" version with magna grips.

serial # question std. catalog updates

Hello, I posted in the serial # thread but got not replies...perhaps that was the wrong place or? Anyhow, here is my post. Well I have a question regarding the last of the N serial #'s. I recently turned a friend that is newer to firearms onto the beauty of 4" N frames. I dabble with .357...

    1905 .32-20 buy value

Thanks guys....like I said these older revolvers are a new thing for me. I think I could get it shipped in/transferred for $400 and as a shooter I could be okay with that. If the deal happens I will post it up here.

This would be a private sale. Here are a few more pics. I will ask about the grips and serial #. Not sure these tell us much other than it needs a good cleaning.

    1905 .32-20 buy value

Hey Guys, these earlier HE's are something I am getting into. I am by no means an expert but I do know most of what to look for. I am thinking hard about buying this one. Serial is B 84xxx. Here are two basic pics I got. I was told it has not be refinished and all stamping is sharp except...

Finally some n-frame grips that fit me.

VZ makes Sq butt grips for Nframes already. I have several sets and they are very good for average size hands. They are thinner from side to side and tapered to the front strap so you can really hang on. I have heard the K/L frames are on the way in round and sq too.

    What do I have here?

Gentlemen, I am a Smith collector and lurker of this website. My collection is primarily model 25's and 27/28s. I am new to the older models and have much to learn. I have folks call me all the time when certain things arise and I was asked if I would like a very worn model 1902 2nd model for...

    Hello from the Rocky Mountains!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I am a new member here and I am an avid Smith collector...although not a member of the Collectors Assoc. I also wanted to shop, trade, and sell here as I much prefer dealing with folks that love Smiths as much as I do! Wheelguns are my thing, not so much...
