Spent a snowy Sunday at the Crossroads Show in Reno - last one before PPT will require an FFL. Didn't know anything about the 25-9 .45 Cal Model of 1989 until I stumbled upon this guy. No box or goodies, but has the OEM grips. Also snagged a very nice Hillsdale Les Baer premier II that was priced right.

Merry Christmas to me!!

This thread answers my question from your previous thread on the 25-9, I asked if you got it at the Reno Gun Show.

Good find on the 25-9. I usually find that configuration in the 25-7, but the 25-9 version does show up from time to time. Can't beat the 25-9 in any format but for carrying I love the 4" version with magna grips.

Thanks! The 25-7 is cool, but a 25-7 with the endurance package is a bonus. Until this weekend I'd never heard of the -9, I thought the seller had mismarked the tag. Did a little research Saturday night and hurried back Sunday morning with a pocket full of cash.

always wanted a 25-7 ever since I saw one but I knew I probably would never be able to obtain one based on my budget and the going prices. Fast forward a couple of years and as luck would have it I fell into this Beautiful 25-9 instead and I couldn't be happier.

I'll admit that I want a 5" unfluted 25-9 like the OP's. I may never have one as it is not fiscally prudent given my financial goals. That does not reduce my inclination.

There are a good amount of the 5" Model 25s out there. Smith & Wesson made lots of Product Code 100924

They began at the -7 engineering revision and continued through the -9 engineering revision.

No one knows where the split occurred in the 2000 piece production

I know I should have cleaned it first :(

I find mine to be among the most accurate of my
Smith & Wesson 45 caliber revolvers.

The only ones that I own that exceed The model 25-7or9 in performance are the Heritage series revolvers
