IM shooting 4.0 Titegroup under a 115gn Berry RN seated at 1.110". Not the most accurate compared to the 124 and 147 that I tested, but its really cheap to load and shoot a bunch of. It gets me a 129 power factor in Tucson, AZ which is a dry climate at altitude (2500').

If they weren't using 929's do you know what minor revolver they were shooting. I would imagine it would have to be a 627, but I know making even minor PF with .38 isnt that common.

I have a 7.2lb double action on my 625-8 and I use federal primers seated just below flush and never had a problem. Hve fired a few thousand rounds with that set up. I would check end shake, and then for sure switch to federal primers.
