single / double stack I have a Colt double eagle in 10mm with compensated barrel. It is a single stack and very accurate. My most accurate 10mm is from STI however it is a 2011 and not as much fun as a 1006 due to the heavy guide rod springs.

I have a 1006 and in my opinion ............between $650 for shooter to $950 with box etc. I haven't seen one sell for $500 recently, I have seen sellers ASKING up to $1500 for pristine examples. What I can say for sure is they are FUN to shoot and about indestructible. You won't lose money...

Hi all, recently my 39-2 started to misfire in single action. Cock the hammer and pull trigger again the round fires and casing ejects. repeat..... I am not a gunsmith so I hope some of you more knowledgable will have some ideas. Thanks!
