I prefer a FMJ, I think they feed better then JHP ammo. I just ordered 4 boxes of HPR 100 Grain TMJ from Cabela's. Will post results after I receive ammo.

Put 25 rounds of Blazer Brass, 25 rounds of PMC Bronze, and 12 rounds Hornady Critical Defense FTX. Had 1 FTF with the Hornady. The FMJ Blazer & PMC ran perfectly. ( had 1 FTF with the Hornady last time at the range ) What ammo do you recommend for the BG 380 ?

I am going to buy some quality self defense rounds and see if the BG shoots any better. Any recommendations for ammo ? I know my LGS has Hornady JHP, Winchester W JHP & Federal HST JHP. Are hollow points an issue in feeding ?

Mine is doing the same thing, failure to feed the 6th round. Called customer service, they sent me a FedEx shipping label. Will let you know what they repaired when I get the pistol back.

Taurus TCP 738 is a very reliable pocket 380. The cheapest pistol that I own. Had to send my M&P Bodyguard back 3 times because the slide would not stay open on the last round. Seems fixed now.

Make a fist and let the dog sniff, if dog snaps it will not get you fingers. I always ask the owner first if dog is friendly.

I also purchased a 10 & 15 round Pro Mag magazine for Natchez Shooting. Both magazines would not feed properly.

Purchased the Magguts 7 round magazine spring assembly. I could not install it properly. (Not as easy as the video on the internet MagGuts | The Last Round's On Us! ) Only got 6 rounds in it after assembly, empty mag would not hold slide open.

Just come back from the range. Everything is not working fine. All 3 new magazine failed to hold the slide open on last round. Tried 2 different brands of ammo, still failed to hold slide open. Sending Bodyguard back top S&W.

I am having the same problem with slide not locking open on the last round on 3 magazines. ( put 1000 rounds thru it with 3 magazines ) 1 magazine won't even hold the slide open when racking the slide on an empty mag. Purchased 3 new magazines. Everything is working fine.
