I'm not a 365 fan. I carry a PDP F-Series with a four-inch barrel. The adjustable sights and match-grade trigger do it for me.

I always suggest a NRA pistol course to those new shooters.

This is an interesting question, and when I first started reloading years ago was told not to mix primers. I think you could get away with it without much of an issue, but I would only consider the lightest powder charges if I resorted to this.

I have an older 649, and I enjoy shooting it. I carry it when I don't want to leave brass on the ground. I don't see a need for one extra round.

A while back a whole shipment of these came out of China. They varied in condition, but most looked about the same as your friends. Not sure their value on today's market but I seriously doubt they are in the price range of 2.5K. I would run away from this deal.
