    First Model 29

I worked in a sporting goods store that included guns in their product mix. You can guess what department I always gravitated to. Anyway, a few months after Dirty Harry hit the theaters we had a guy come into the store, average build and height, who wanted to see a S&W Model 29, "you know, the...

offset sights Or, mount some 45* offset back-up iron sights on your rail and just rotate the whole gun counter clockwise (if right handed) and use the offset sights if the scope goes wonky.

Does the M&P10 kick more than other .308 ARs?

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please read the question!!! I am asking if the M&P10 kicks more than other .308 ARs? Not if a .308 has too much kick. Please answer with respect to the M&P10 compared to other .308 caliber ARs. Thank you, Larry

Does the M&P10 kick more than other .308 ARs?

I am trying out four different ARs in .308 and to me the M&P10 has the most kick/recoil. Significantly more so than the others. Is it just the one I am using or have others found this to be true?

    Total Noob Question 15-22

Taking a totally different approach Since HistoryTeacher likes the feel of recoil when he shoots would another viable approach be to just get a weaker buffer spring so it doesn't absorb as much of the recoil? Certainly cheaper and less hassle than getting a suppresor.

    Holster for M&P Pro CORE?

I have an M&P .40 PRO C.O.R.E. with the 5" slide and the kydex holsters that Viridian sells work fine for me. It also fits my daughters 4.25" .40. And you don't have to put a laser on your pistol for it to work. No problem with the hight sights at all. Here is the URL for their holster web...

I NEED SOME ADVICE FRON VETERANS

But before you do, have him check the laws in your state and federal regulations. I think (not sure) that some diagnosese need to be reported, just like a gunshot wound at the ER results in a call to the police.

    S&W 38 information Please

Good luck finding ammo for it. If it is like my brothers Lend Lease British Service Revolver (BSR) and only takes .38 S&W ammo the .38 Special ammo will be too long for the cylinder.

    M&P FS 9mm Options

I went through the same decision making parocess s you, but with the .40 instead of the 9mm. I shot both the standard M&P with the 4.25" barrel and the Pro CORE with the 5" barrel. I can tell you that the Pro CORE had a nicer trigger and the extra .75" does help with muzzle flip. My daughter...

How do you handle these situations?

As I develop my home defense plan two questions came to mind that I wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on. First, keeping a handgun or shotgun secured but accessible in the bedroom is a no-brainer in the event of a home invasion during the night when you are sleeping, but what about something...

Hello All, What FACTORY LOAD brand/bullet weight combination works well in your M&P40? I am not looking for handloading information. I have the CORE with the 5" barrel. I plan to use hollow points in the house for home defense to minimize pass throughs and the possibility of a round going...
