Yep, I do. Not very often, but when I do it's generally around a couple of dozen or so dry fires. It really helped me not only grow accustom to the trigger, but helped me appreciate it too. :eek:

I've only shot one kind of ammo so far through my SD9VE, but the brass always appear perfect.

I've been using cheap Bosnian Tulammo BrassMax in 100 count tubs from WalMart for $23.99 with nearly flawless success thus far (9mm). I did have one FTF somewhere between the 15-20th round the first time shooting the gun, however, now several hundred rounds later it's been flawless.

I love the 22 lr. I purchased this Taurus 990 about 4 months back for my boys and I shoot tin cans, 2 liter jugs of water and steel spinners in the backyard :) Now if the longest winter in the history of mankind would just finally come to a close, we might get to shoot it a little bit...

Looking at their website, you are correct; I can assume Taurus paid for my shipping due to the fact it was indeed a new and recent purchase. Not to stray too far off the OP's topic, but me and my boys (9 and 11) really do enjoying shooting that Taurus 990 22lr.
