hi forum,i just got a 629-4 mountain nib,my question is the box it came in.its the blue hard plastic with correct label on it,i thought that year of smiths came in the blue smith one piece cardboard box,does anyone know?thanks.

629-5 i have the same gun,i don't think those grips came with it,they r supposed to be combat finger grips.

hi i have a 629-5 classic dx 6 1/2 inch nib,was thinking of selling it for a 4 inch or shorter barrel,i have a ruger 77-44 rifle and thought the shorter barrel would comp the rifle well.what do you guys think?

29-5 hi i have a 629-5 classic dx 61/2 inch new in box with all paperwork test target and extra grips and sights,i would not take less then 2000 $ for it,has all the updates and pre-lock,very few made and hard to find nib.i am thinking about selling it but i know i will be sorry.
