I did not know that this existed. It states that only 1,067 were manufactured. Does anybody have an idea of what this is worth and why did they stop production?

Thanks for the information. Were the 22/32 HE, 22/32 Bekert or 22/32 Heavy Frame Target all produced in the S/N 530XXX production year? This gun does have a target front sight and an adjustable rear sight. Could it be a Heavy Frame Target and were many produced?

I believe the pre-war 22/32 Kit Gun came with a 4 inch barrel however, I saw one with I think a 6 inch barrel is this possible? The serial number is 530xxx.

I have what I believe is a .32 Hand Ejector 3rd model (not sure). It's blue has a 3 1/4 in barrel with wood round butt non-medallion grips. The serial number is 4070XX right grip is penciled with the matching serial number. I don't know the year of manufacture however, my guess would be in the...

I also have a pre Model 21 with a 6 1/2" barrel matching grips in 97% condition with a factory letter. The serial number is S106xxx. I would very much like an estimate of current value.

Date of manufacture please. The serial no. is 648XX

The stated caliber in the description was .45ACP however, because 99.9% of all 1917's came in that caliber it would be an easy mistake. The factory letter states "this hand gun was specially chambered in the .45 Colt caliber" and the auction house in their description states "The factory letter...

In the discription it says it "comes with two blued steel half-moon clips". Perhaps the .45 Colt clips into the half-moon clips in the same way as the .45ACP. That would explain the wide gap between cylinder and standing breech being necessary.

After researching past posts and the above comments it look likes $5,000. may have been a very good buy if you have the money. One of the posts stated that two had sold a few years ago for over $10,0000 a piece. Wow.
