    44 Crimp and Xtreme Plated Bullets

    I use W296 28.0grs with 200grs. X Tremes. I also apply a decent crimp. (roll) These fly pretty good. However can't find a powder to make them flying good on less power. Last I used 10.8grs N320. Chronometer said 56 feet difference between fastest and slowest round. (20 shots) Deviation 23...

    Thanks guys for the warm welcome. Wanna say to 3482jl, me too. To old and to poor for ugly guns. ;-) I've got pistols too. However shooting my .357 (586) and .44 (629) Magnum is always the highlight. Hereby I prefer to shoot Magnum. Makes my day.

    floating firing ping doesn't retract.

    Thanks for your answers. That's the crook. The firing pin bushing pin, or retaining pin, as called by drummer007 doesn't move anymore. Therefore can't take it out. Tried, oil, ultrasound bath, knocking and pulling. No success. Thanks Edgar

    I've got a 586-5 S&W revolver blue. After a mishap, (double load of powder?:eek:) chronometer showed 1480 ft, my firing pin doesn't retract after dry fire.
