Since I already have a well used x-CHP Model 60, I was thinking more of an investment. I kept asking the seller about the finish and he swore it was his mom's....never been re-finished and it was always that way. Even the FFL guy said he didn't think it was re-finished. My wife has a re-blued...

Just picked up a Model 36 which appears to have been parkerized. The seller claims it was his mother's and never been re-finished. But I can't find anything that says this model was ever available parkerized from the factory. Any ideas on MFG. Date? SN 3940xx

Finally found a Model 60 for myself. Not pinned but it's stamped "CHP" (California Highway Patrol)

My wife likes my Bersa Thunder .380 as much as I do. Great for carry and fun to shoot. She carries her S/A EMP 9mm, it's really nice. I'm considering an EMP 4 for myself if they ever make it to Kalifornia.

In Cali, I could only buy a Shield with a safety. None of my other pistols have a safety (SIG's LCP, revolvers...) but the Shield's safety is very small and easy to use. I don't mind it at all and I actually kind of like it as an option.

Took it to the range today, what an awesome little pistol. Super happy with this one.

I bought my Shield 9mm used, so no choice it has a safety. I can click it off pretty easily and quickly with the side of my thumb knuckle. It doesn't get in the way at all. I don't mind it at all and I kind of like the option being there. Took it to the range today and I was mighty impressed...
