Probably already mentioned but I'd say a Model 17 in factory nickel. I believe there are only 15 known to exist. The last one I heard come to market fetched somewhere around 12 grand.

Never have bought a gun just for the grips but I do buy grips all the time. It's sort of become an additional hobby for me.

Congrats on your new addition. They are awesome little guns. I have 2 of them. One is a shooter and the other is dead new in the wrapper. Only complaint I have is having to wear double ear protection. Good lord, they are loud little buggers.
