    Little scared of this one

Recoil I've hunted giraffe and lion with my S&W 500. I also have run thousands of rounds through my Ruger Super Blackhawk that I bought new in 1971. My S&W 342 PD snaps a little but is no big deal. Personally, and only personally, recoil is what you make of it. My African Rifle is a Ruger #1 in...

Youtube channel about traveling 7 years around Africa

JJEH - I've been on African Safari a number of times. I'm an adventure writer. If you really want to go on Safari, let me know. Not counting airfare, you can do a five-day plains game hunt in South Africa for $3,000 to $3500. The hunt will include at least four animals.

Car guys/gals, I sure miss the old days...

I had an IH Scout - terrible gas mileage. Found out the little toy was heavier than a 3/4 ton PU. It had a full-boxed frame and the V-8 engine must have been sourced from a WWII British heavy cruiser.

    WTS Model 29-2 nickel -$850

S&W Model 29-2 $850. The revolver was improperly stored and the nickel finish is flaking. The gun had a full check up by my gunsmith (receipt for $171) and everything inside is in excellent condition. Some springs were replaced, and the action feels like new. The cylinder drag line is almost...

    M29-2 question for the pros

I've got a nickel 6.5 bbl Model 29-2 made somewhere between 1978 & 1979. Internals are just about perfect. Drag line is very faint. Kicker is that it was stored poorly and the nickel finish is peppered. Metal is fine just the finish is bad. What would you do with it?

I've got a replica C-96 by Denix. Looks just like the real thing. It would make a good start on a Solo blaster.

    Should I or shouldn't I

I see that the GA stocks are rather expensive. I'm in the gun less than $550, so I'm not too sure I want to spend the money on the GAs. After all, the pig I shoot really doesn't care

    Should I or shouldn't I

My 29-2 comes back as 1979-1980. If the gun could talk - what a tale it would tell. Oh, and totally off topic but still a big bore S&W, here's what you can do with a handgun.

    Should I or shouldn't I

SVT28. Yup, that's the gun. I've since added a rear sight and front red ramp. My gunsmith checked it out, replaced some springs and now it feels like a new gun. I'll break out the Flitz and see what happens. I'l post before and after photos when I'm done. (I used 68 patches getting the dirt...

    Should I or shouldn't I

I've got a M29-2 nickel. It appears to have been stored in a compost heap for years. It is mint inside after the dirt was removed, but the nickel is pitted. I'm thinking about an Ionbond TB41 DLC coating. Look at the photo and give me your thoughts, pls & thx
