I have none of those problems. Only fired about 1200 rounds since I got my Shield 9 in April. It will be my carry weapon.

I bought an extension because the 7 round mag was included in the purchase of the weapon. I have since bought six 8 round mags.

With hands the size of mine, the base plate extension for the 7 round mag was a must.
