    I asked Ford to try and bring the finish back to original as possible- I am very happy with the way it turned out, but still puzzled on the stripping of bluing- then sealing the finish..

    Has anyone ever seen (2) different serial number stampings on a 1961 S&W 28-2? The correct Serial Number is stamped at the bottom of the grip - where the frame stud hole is. It looks like a stamp before the hole was punched..Please see photo and please comment...

    Pre Model 36 Chiefs Question

    I am really embarrassed, after purchasing new springs , extractor rod etc... the binding still occurred. I did not notice any off balance of any rotation. I then used my new vice grip designed for extractor rods and tightened the LH firmly - Moses parted the sea - it worked!!! Thanks all!!!
