Really getting tired of other people's entitlement attitudes.

My late wife and I accumulated lots of "stuff" over the 30+ years here. I have come to realize I may have to downsize, keeping this size property going may be too much soon. I dread putting things up for sale, who knows who will show up and dealing with them all. I heard there is a local auction...

The unavoidable gun fight. Are you confident with your handgun choice?

I'm sorry, the chance of this happening to me is almost zero. The time I'll take planning for it, almost zero. There are a lot of things that get you.

Bad Experience w/the 632 Ultimate Carry

Same here. Not many stocking dealers close to me and they all tend to have the things. I haven't found an Ultimate Carry in stock anywhere to examine.

Louisiana Becomes First State to Authorize Local Law Enforcement to Neutralize Dangerous Drones

My dogs like me too, but I do give them treats. I think one of them might take one down, if it was low enough.

Foyle's War — Anybody Watch It?

A Touch of Frost is also a good series, as is Vera.

Foyle's War — Anybody Watch It?

My wife gave me the DVDs, one of my favorite series. We used to watch it once a year, then watch her favorite, Downton Abbey.

They kill a White Buffalo on Ted Nugents TV Show

My brother has a domestic buffalo herd and with today's genetics white buffalo are not that unusual, he has several. If they are not sold as breeding stock, they are butchered for meat.

Sometime going back to the basics is pretty tasty.

Sounds good to me! I usually make something like this when I have a piece of leftover ham.

I got to take a ride in a cyber truck today

I had to do a double take last week when a Cyber truck pulled up to the gas pumps. Turns out he was just filling a gas can, but still looked kinda funny. I guess he hadn't gone the electric mower route yet.

    Low capacity but probably enough

We started on small revolvers and now we are debating flame throwers and machine guns?

    Russia's 'Pearl Harbor'

For better or worse, we may be seeing the apex of manned combat aircraft. With more tech and AI, multiple drones will take over many missions.

First time in a long time, gun show report

I wanted to add that I was surprised by the number of new lever rifles, they must be on the upswing. Quite a few Henrys, some Marlin and Rossi. Only saw one S&W, no Winchester.

First time in a long time, gun show report

Sorry the long post, I thought I put paragraphs in, but it didn't come out that way.

First time in a long time, gun show report

I haven't done much with guns and shooting the last few years, other life events took over. I used to go to a small, local show every Memorial day weekend. I haven't gone to any shows in the last 3 years. I decided to check it out today, as I was going to a store that was in the area. A...

    380EZ grip safety

If you have the EZ model without the thumb safety, the grip safety is the only real safety. Bypass it and you are carrying a single action pistol that is cocked and ready to rock. Not me.

EPA to phase out stop/start systems on cars

Having a starter or battery fail in your driveway or parking lot is a pain, it's happened to me several times over the years. Having it fail in the middle of the street at a busy stoplight, big pain.

EPA to phase out stop/start systems on cars

I always thought it was irritating and useless. The minute amount of fuel saved is offset by the wear and tear on the starter and other parts. I can bypass it on my truck, just have to remember to do it every time I start.

Does anyone not own a 9mm?

I have owned firearms for almost 50 years, but never a 9 mm. Growing up in a small Midwest town in the 1960s/ 70's, they were not very common. For many years I was mostly interested in hunting and long guns. I always had a few handguns around, and the.22/38-357/ .45 choices were the easiest...

    Slate Pickup Truck

As much as we all say new trucks cost too much,( including me), I don't think this is a big market. The last new truck I bought was a "leftover" from the last model year. It had been sitting on the lot for months and pushed back by the new model year trucks. The dealer claimed it wasn't what...
