    Ghost in the shell

I'm betting you haven't seen the anime movie that it was supposed to be a live action version of. That movie was woke garbage. With all the deviations in the first 15 minutes I turned it off.

Your Thoughts on the S&W Shield .40 Cal?

I have a 4" PC Shield M2.0 in 40S&W. Due to my hands being larger I need Hogue grips to get a consistent proper grip on the gun. It's still a very concealable gun. The recoil is more noticeable for me with that gun than my 4" M&P40 Compact. Not terrible by any means, but the full size 40s...

Lack of interest in 40 SW yet 10MM is getting popular??

Reminds me why I stopped going to Walmart. Some of the locals here had me wondering if I needed way more power in case they got rowdy with me. Then the epiphany occurred. I could just outwalk them and be safe.

Lack of interest in 40 SW yet 10MM is getting popular??

No, no there are not. Several ammunition manufacturers have stated that without hesitation. That's a lie. It doesn't take much to find who still makes guns chambered in 40S&W. The most notable company being S&W. Personally, I think it's an odd trend of public misperception causing a...

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

My first S&W firearm was a 327 TRR8. I bought back in 2011. I didn't make much back then and saved up for it. Well worth it. It's been a great gun for me.

I got a DENIED the other day...

They do. I have to enter mine or I get denied. I'm the 8th person in my state with the same first and last name. Two are felons, so no SS, I get denied/delayed. I found that out when I got denied on my second gun purchase. The new guy doing my background check didn't enter my SS number and...

    S&W 686 Plus Functionality

Most likely not. The current PC upgrades are pretty minimal from what I've seen personally. Possibly better sights, and a trigger job. As long as you get a good 686 model it will be a durable gun that should handle a lot of rounds through it. By good, I mean functional. With the QC issues...

    Talk about PO’ed…

It can happen anywhere. More often than not when the alarm system is being worked on or added to.

    Rant on GB website

It's just an auction site. It's very similar to ebay in how it has been setup and functions. I wish they had a better MFA setup than what they have, but what can you do? I used it recently and had no issues with the service. I actually like the 15 minute rule. Although, unlike some bidders...

    .22 Magnum Handgun

Try polishing the feed ramp. That's been the fix for a lot of people.

    SIG P320 Discharges?

Actually, everything they are doing wrong will end their reign. Their leadership is more akin to the now defunct leadership that destroyed Remington. Their hold on the market is breaking. Too many QC issues. The 320 debacle will speed the process of self-implosion along exponentially if...

    SIG P320 Discharges?

No. Tools that work are all that matter at the end of the day. The hammer I bought 15 years ago will pound in a nail just as well as the new hammer my Dad bought because he lost another one. Which he found later, but that's not important..

Damn foxes stealing my flip flops

The simplest solution would be a 22 or 410 shotgun if using one is legal where you live. Foxes are not endangered and can become a nuisance animal. I'm not certain what non-lethal measures are apt to succeed. My only experience with them comes from being on my Grandparents' farm. Many of...

Need help choosing good 1st Revolver for a beginner..

I have to wholeheartedly agree with this advice. I would advise the OP to stay away from J-frames for now. They are considerably worse to shoot than a 4" K frame. I know, I own both revolver types. I would not hesitate to let someone shoot the 10-5 I own to begin with. It's a great beginner...

    Are you a "gun slut"?

It's actually quite accurate in the context used. Stop being offended by terms that accurate. Life isn't all sunshine and roses. We need words to describe the uglier aspects of life along with the good. At least in this context it means running around with different firearms and shooting...

    Lack of professionalism.. Opinions....

While there may be a little more to the story, there won't be much more to it. This is not an uncommon situation in the US unfortunately. There are many such tales going back years. Most notably in larger cities. It's one of the reasons some places have employees in almost unbreachable areas...

    SIG P320 Discharges?

Do you honestly think proper testing was done to vet the gun? From all appearances the choice was made before the trials. A common thing seen in banana republics like the US government with corruption galore. The only question I have is, who got the bribes?

The unavoidable gun fight. Are you confident with your handgun choice?

That's an actual barrel and compensator that you can buy. The Ramjet being the compensator. I'm not familiar with Radian's products personally. I modified my Glock, a G40, for hunting purposes. Timney Alpha trigger, KKM barrel, and fiber optic sights (from Dawson). It's an amazing woods...

    2" vs 3" .38/.357 revolvers

My S&W 60-15 and SP101 have never had issues with ejecting cases. Nor does my S&W 10-5. They all have a shorter ejector rod. I've never experienced that issue.

    SIG P320 Discharges?

Sig is now being managed by the same person who almost destroyed Kimber. All the issues that Kimber had under Cohen's leadership are issues at Sig now. Combine that with poor QC of an imperfect design, the 320, and you have the issues being seen. The issue of tolerance stacking has been...
