    Auction on M-53

Did anyone here bid on this M-53? https://hessney.hibid.com/lot/260038382/smith-and-wesson-model-53-2----22-rem-jet-d-a- I briefly thought about it but didn't want the headache looking for the inserts nor a 22LR cylinder. My M-17 looks almost as good and shoots well enough for me. Rick

    Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

I had a AMT model of a 1968 Lincoln Continental that had those Suicide doors. I painted it a soft matte black. No where near as cool as this though. Rick

Ahh! Sounds like he went to "Warp Speed". I've done that on my 84 Aspencade on occasion in the past. Rick

    Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

I just bought a 2025 Hyundai Elantra 2 weeks ago. My last car a 2007 Accent GL had a leaky gas tank after 18.5 years and over 117600 miles. It was a good little car. My new Hyundai even though bigger gets even better gas mileage! I tend to keep my cars a long time. Rick

I've never been a fan of Scarlett Johansson myself. Or Paul Newman, Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, Robert Deniro, Alec Baldwin, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Susan Sarandon, Mark Hammel and several others I can't think of at the moment. See where I'm going with this? Rick

Can you identify this Smith from this photo? It's a 629 or a 686?

By the look of the the size and color of the cartridge I would say it's a 357. To me the trigger and hammer don't look like one of the 3 T's. Maybe a K-frame which never came in 44 magnum to my knowledge. Lots of people here have much more knowledge than I do. Rick

    National Dog Day

In my family we've always gotten another collie puppy after losing one. When I moved out into the country I had to wait a little over a year because I had just started a new job the day after losing Aristotle, You'd be surprised how much a little puppy helps the hurt. You'll still miss your pet...

    Old time TV guns

Thanks. Bought it new in April 1979. It's got 73675 miles on it. I don't take it out much anymore, I don't trust it much, needs a bit of work. I just drive it around the neighborhood some. It gets a lot of strange looks from people. I haven't seen another since 1996 coming home from work on the...

FYI, Not A Political Post! Whitehouse releases Billions to get ammo to civilians, namely Lake City Ammunition factory!

So it's only military stuff then and not for civilian calibers. Good thing I stocked up on my 44 Mag/Spl components when they were at a reasonable price. Good to know. I've probably got enough to last me the next 31 years. Rick
