Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

My grandfather had a Lincoln with suicide doors back in the 60's. Kinda cool, but they called 'em that for a reason. I'm surprised RR brought it back.

I also don't understand a battery operated vehicle that's worth as much as a nice home.

I don't know who this kid is, but daddy obviously has money!

I had a AMT model of a 1968 Lincoln Continental that had those Suicide doors. I painted it a soft matte black. No where near as cool as this though.

I'd swear that I saw a current Lincoln with suicide doors at my favorite Greek restaurant a couple months ago.

There is a 61 for sale locally, I'm trying not to go look at it!

Nothing current - it's all SUVs now, but a few years back they made an expensive limited edition with suicide doors. 80th anniversary edition. Was $110,000 in 2019. Only 80 were made. I imagine one in pristine condition will be quite valuable one day.

I remember my parents had a 70. It was the first year of regular doors. 69 still had the suicide doors.

That's it. Saw it on the south side of Charlotte, NC. No idea if it was 1/80 from 2019 or 1/150 from 2020.

I saw a Rolls Royce Spectre on the freeway a few months ago. I had to look it up when I got home and discovered It's an EV with suicide doors and a range of up to 264 miles. They can top $400,000 before tariffs.

Not for me, but the owner obviously didn't worry about getting a speeding ticket. He disappeared in a flash and I was going 75-80!

My parents neighbor had a Rolls, it was very luxurious inside (had mink floor mats). It was a great ride, heavy as a tank 😂

I wouldn't buy any new vehicles. Ford and GM currently have stop sales. Millions upon millions have also been recalled. Makes me wonder if is over all QC or a supplier issue.

Ford Places Another 355,000 F-Series Trucks Under Stop-Sale for Latest Recall

Ford's terrible recall record continues with yet another affecting not only the Super Duty but also the F-150.
