Model 1000M Shotgun

I just picked up a S&W Model 1000M shotgun in 20 GA. Does anyone here have any experience with these? Thanks in advance.

I have owned several through the years, never had any problems. Parts are found a lot of times on e-bay. I just pick up another 12 ga. a couple of weeks back. I like em'.

Mid 1970s I bought a Model 1000 at the store where I worked. It was cheaper than the Remington 1100 that I wanted Nd had engraving and a shiny stock. I still have it. It is 12 gauge and the softest shooting shotgun that I have. Always works. I would buy another.

I never had a 1000, but I still have the 3000 I bought new in 1984 from Jerry’s Liquor and Guns - it’s never failed me.
