Anyone hear if S&W is going to make their FPC in 45 acp? I have the 9mm and love it, but will next buy the new Ruger side folder in 45 if Smith is not going to add this caliber. Thanks all.

JackZeller, I'm figuring the same thing . When 'Smith' came out with the 9mm Shield, it was about two (2) years later when the .45 acp Shield came out. My bet is 'Smith' is waiting to see how the market attracts the Ruger unit. Then, if 'Smith' makes one , they'll show it at the SHOT show the following year. As usual, the initial prices will launch for the sky while all the first year foibles work themselves out. I'm going to wait it out. Just my humble $.02
