Thread Size on MP 22-15 barrel

I just purchased a new S&W MP 22-15 .22cal rifle. I have the one that comes with the flash suppressor. Can some one tell me if the thread size is 1/2x28 or is it something else.

If you look here on the forum, there are a few that have made their own fake suppressors. Might save you a few $$$$ with a DIY.

I had two people at the range today ask me if the the DPMS 5 1/2 inch slip-over flash suppressor was a silencer.

Just bought my own fake aluminum suppressor on the devils flea market.. err I mean eBay.. lol. Its a 1/2 28 threaded suppressor and this forum helped answer my question, SO I immediately bought it after finding this info. Thanks guys! If you are interested her is the link to the exact same one I just bought. 1/2 28 muzzle brake 10/22 fake suppressor style 5 inch! - eBay (item 140431896298 end time Jul-30-10 11:54:16 PDT) It was 21 bucks total with shipping.
