Plate stock M&P 15-22 for sling attachement
Dear fellow forum member
Have a question, want to attache a endplate on the stock of my M&P 15-22 but the normal ones for a 1 point sling is not possible due no normal stock can be placed, so can someone help me here of what branch I can get a plate which lock by screw so I can use for my 1 point sling to be kept on place
Sorry if my technical english is not so good and please keep in mind that I can't order anything from your local gunshop so the best thing would be a purchase on efrom a wellknown seller like Magpul or CAA which I can purchase form Holland Europe.
Thanks in advance.
Regards SmithieNL
ps still building my M&P 15-22 for tactical shooting practice and soon as Im readdy will post some pics.

Midwest Industries:
Click in the following order- AR products, sling adapters, end plate sling adapters. The first three listed will work on the 15-22.

Thanks for your help, now I can only hope that they ship to Holland.
Just to check if this would be the right one:
MCTAR-13 Loop End Plate Sling Adapter for 4-position or 6-position CAR/M4 Stock
Will fit Sig 556 with collapsible stock. $35.95
Kind Regards

I have the same one and like it. I got it off from ebay for a little cheaper shipped. There might be sellers there that would ship overseas as well.

Remove the buttstock, slide the sling attatchment over the buffer tube, replace buttstock. Only tool you need is the allen wrench that comes w/ the part.

Good luck. If it doesn't work out for some reason, like jaybone said there's always e-bay.

Yep found Midway Germany but now I occured another problem due legal gun regulations the stock on a rifle has to be fixed here in Holland so I can't take of the stock so maybe some one here heard of a kind of end plate in 2 halfs that woudld solve many problems. So any suggestions there.

Sorry to hear of all speed bumps. You might consider using a zip tie.

Dvang, does the sling plate stay in place, or does it slide on the stock tube?

2 bolt install so no stock removal
I had to file the slot on bottom larger/more depth to fit a sw 15-22
meets perfectly with CTR locked in
i had the midewest industries also which funtioned fine just prefer the look of this one over MI model

Thanks for the pics. I have one of those floating around that wouldn't work on my LMT lower as it slipped from it's position.
I think I'll go with this option. Thanks again.

Well my Midwest MCTAR-13 came in today and I just installed it on there.
You can see below that it doesn't sit exactly flush with the rear of the receiver:
Really like it. The stock I have on there (VLTOR Mod) doesn't close all the way with it attached, but no problem really. I'm due to take receipt of a MOE stock tomorrow so will take more pics when I finally trick out this rifle.

So if your stock is pinned, you would have to un-pin it, slide the stock off the buffer tube, THEN slide the MI plate in, right? That sounds like a b1tch! The DD end plate is just way too think for my taste but I don't know... If that's the only option out there, I may have to jump for it.

I use 550 paracord to hold my sling rear connection point. It has worked great. Best of all it's very cheap. I use the Emdom Gunslinger sling. It is also available at skdtac.com and they ship to most nations. They also have other slings and even the Midwest Industries and Daniel Defense mounts that work with the 15-22.
You could also try the Stark SE-2 pistol grip. It has a built in quick disconnect (QD) socket on the rear for a QD swivel. Since the 15-22 has a molded trigger guard, you might only have to cut the trigger guard from the Stark grip.
