Default New to the site and looking into a 15-22

Not sure what to look for an what not.
I saw on the net to look for a MOE but do not see any listed for sale even on Gunbroker.
I live in a gun friendly state so any config is ok.
I see a few Talo for sale with magpul? but are in top $$ is it just the sights added?
Only other gun I looked at was a SIG 522 with Factory Prismatic Scope for same cost.
[b]But did not have the same feal like my real AR's have so inlighten me please before I buy the 522 thanks [b]

Sights and Flash supressor on the Talo. I had to have my local gun shop order mine cause all I could find locally was the stock ones. I bet your local dealer could find a MOE or TALO

Here is a thread with views of each.

OK MP15-22 forum users help me answer a ?

The Talo comes with Gen1 Magpul sights. Gen2 will be out any day so you'll already be getting outdated stuff with a Talo. If I was buying another 15-22, I'd just get the basic rifle with flash suppressor. They sell for 399 at GT Distributors. Good outfit. G T Distributors Product Detail

My suggestion is to not get any 15-22 that doesn't have blue springs on the bolt.

The chances of it having problems are a lot lower if it has the blue springs from what I've been reading.

EDIT: Mine is a DUA with the blue springs, and I've had 1500 rounds with only three stove pipes, and that is better than any other .22 I have, plus that is with the cheep Federal bulk.

The GT link I posted is just a 15-22 with flash suppressor the way S&W ships them from the factory.
No extras

Thanks Phil.
I was just tring to compair apples with apples and see.
I emailed the seller of a loaded Talo before I posted this question last night of one I was going to buy with 2 magazines if it had the new thinner sights
S&W Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Magpul Talo MBUS : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com
The email I got back
This is the newest one out that I am aware of. It is the Talo edition with the threaded barrel. Mags are $25.00 ea. Thanks
Would have cost me 500 plus 30 shipping plus 25-38 FFL transfur
Can get one from local dealer for $565.31 who gets them from Davidson's
I am still knocking around the Sig with scope at same cost with 2 mags
as it is "supossed" to eat any ammo

The "loaded" Talo edition is a 15-22 with MBUS instead of factory sights.

Yes, my Sig functions well with a variety of ammo. The 15-22 does too but I just use Fed bulk pack. If you read through the threads here people are using all kinds of ammo with their 15-22.
