I did like the rubber one, but for $170 I wanted a little more durability. Several times it lost zero not while firing but while moving through the field. Also the ill ret/laser combo option went out after a few weeks. However lots of members here have had good experience with 'em. The same brand red dot was awsome. Great quality and held zero. I use the 15-22 mostley for gopher, badger and rattlesnakes. Often I need to reach out to 75 or 100 meters or so while keeping a 2 inch group so the red dot became impractical. The one I have on now is rock solid. Strong aluminum rings, very clear retical and great price. It won't be $20 for long I'm sure. Utilizing the mil dot was easy because the majority of my targets are about 9"-10" tall, so that w/ the balistics chart of the ammo I use allows me to create a table I can almost alwayse utilize. I almost hit my target at 250 yards

......with 74.4" of hold off

This scope is a good choice imo but it all depends on your application. Good luck on your decision.
