Proud new owner of S&W M&P 15-22
Hi everyone I am new to the forums. I am a 19 year old hunting and firearms enthusiast who absolutely loves the sport of shooting. I cant say how pleased I am with this rifle its just amazing! I picked up the 15-22 on Friday after work for $480 from NJ Firearms guild and took it out yesterday morning. I put well over 600 rounds of Federal 38 grain ammo through it with not one problem! After shooting I picked up a foregrip from cabelas then went back to the range and shot over another 200 rounds and ordered a nice Leapers Accushot T139 3x40 "CQB" TACTICAL RIFLE SCOPE last night. This rifle is well worth the money!

Welcome to the forum. I've found that the 15-22 is the most fun I've ever had shooting .22 rifles.

hey lex, sorry to hear your from NJ too lol. I basically just shoot around where i hunt in clinton its a free public range where you can shoot .22's, shotguns, and muzzleloaders. Im looking for a decent range somewhere around central jersey that isnt too expensive. BTW awesome rifle you got there

Congrats on your new purchase. Was originally from NY where it takes an act of congress to own anything that goes boom. Now in Texas I can own all kinds of toys like this one. You can configure this lil beauty in so many different ways, which is what makes it so much fun to own.

Haha.. dude, I go to the Clinton WMA range also. Maybe I'll see you there sometime.
The only other "public" range somewhat close to us where you can shoot for an hourly fee is Bullet Hole in Belleville. Most other ones require a yearly membership.
Range 14 @ Fort Dix is also inexpensive but its just too far from me. Ah well...
