I bought a Bushnell Trophy 1x32 ACOG clone today from Gander mountain. I went to buy a Eotech, and came out with this thing. I will save for an Eotech for the AR. I shot about 500 rds with it today from ranges of 10 yds to 75 yds. Overall Im very happy with it. It does have an Iron sight on top which is an OK sight if need be. For the money I think this is a pretty decent optic.

i love mine, but it's pretty heavy. but heavy is good, heavy is reliable, if the gun does not work I can hit someone with it.

If they made it in 4X, I would buy two. or three.
I'd certainly buy one if it was 4x.

A guy I shoot with got one out of his safe that was a year old and only lightly used. The T-shape reticle was tilted and the green illumination didn't work. He waskind of upset, not sure if he was going to try and send it back or not.

What, if any, is the difference between the Bushnell Trophy and the Bushnell Tactical Elite 1x32 red/green t-dot?

I have the latter on one of my ARs, and it has been a solid performer.

Academy had these on sale so I picked one up for $120. I am very pleased with this optic and it is a great value for the money.

Pros
-The T- dot provides for very quick target aquisition and it is outstanding for targets that are moving laterally. Much quicker on follow-up shots to moving targets than a tradional magnified scope.
-Quality of the optic is 1st class. Very solid construction and holds zero.
-T-Dot is small and very clear with no "ghosting."
-Adjustable between red/green dots. Red is very visible in direct sunlight even at low settings. Green is best for low light/shooting indoors.
-Mounts easily on 15-22 with no riser needed and co-witnesses perfectly with MBUS.

Cons
-Heavy.
-no auto off on power.

Would recommend this to anyone looking for an ACOG type clone.

Cajun, as shown in your pic, how does the rear sight deploy in order to co-witness? Don't you have to move the optic forward?

Rear MBUS pops up flat against the back of the scope and co-witnesses perfectly. I initially mounted the scope more forward but it changed the way the weight was distributed and ended up moving it back. It is tight, but it fits!

My camera would not take a good shot of the cowitness, so in the pic I had to raise the camera up a bit.

Thanks Cajun, it's a good shot and explains how your setup works. It just seemed to me looking at your first pic that the rear sight might not be able to be depoyed with the ACOG at that location. Now I know the whole story.
