Arrow Question about color matching between MagPul and Vltor

Kind of a silly question.. BUT has anybody 'in hand' compared Magpul's Olive Drab Green to Vltor's Foilage Green?

My favorite furniture color is MagPul OD Green (Olive Drab). I'm in love with Vltor's Imod clubfoot stock and would like to order one for my 15-22. The issue is, Vltor doesn't offer an OD green color, only Black, FDE, and Foliage Green.

So.... If I order the Vltor stock in what they call "Foliage Green", will it match all my existing OD Green MagPul furniture?

I know that none of the tactical companies follow an industry standard for these color hues, and I've read that they can vary drastically even within the same manufacture, so that's why I ask if anyone has compared in person.

This reputable video on youtube has a Vltor hand guard in their Foliage Green color teamed up with Magpul OD Green parts and it seems to match pretty darn well. I confirmed with the owner of the gun on youtube as well and he told me that MagPul's OD Green opposed to their Foilage color is a much better match to Vlto'rs Foliage Green.

YouTube - Bushmaster O.R.C. AR15 upgrades.

I don't need the color hues to be perfect, not that big of a deal, but I would like to match s best as I can. What do you guys think?

why not get the Foliage green furniture from magpul?

Edit: never mind just saw you had the OD already, my bad. The foliage green color is much lighter than the OD, be it from magpul or whomever.

Go here. Click the pic for a larger view. The 2nd pic shows rail covers with Od and Foliage on them for comparing.

Black usually matches black, and a can of Krylon Camo in OD will make everything match.

The Krylon camo paint worked well painting accessories for my brother's MOE. It's held up well, even on the soft Hogue overmolded grip.

You might look at airsoft stocks. I paid $45 for my EMOD clone. It does just fine with the 'punishment' that our rimfire rifles deal out.

Duracoat is the best color equalizer.

Someone already mentioned that most of Magpul's stuff is available in Foliage Green...
