I posted awhile back about looking for a gun case that was durable for storing the gun in and taking it to the range etc. I wanted something good but affordable. After researching a lot online and listening to fellow forum members recommendations I went with the ModGear soft case from Cheaper Than Dirt. It had plenty of good reviews on their site, looked like it could hold a lot and was only $45.
Now that I have it I can attest that the case is well worth it. It has very durable material all around and has plenty of padding for the gun. The 3 removable front pockets have lots of room to hold my extra clips, range ear/eye wear, ammo, etc. Unzip the front and there are 2 nice big pockets velcroed shut that can hold handguns, more clips, whatever. The main compartment is big enough to hold the M&P 15-22 with scope and foregrips attached. Lastly, the strap is very durable and has 2 mounting points depending on how you like to carry it.
If you are looking for a soft case that very versitle I highly recommend this one.
