Receiver Thickness

Hey guys,

Anybody know the thickness of the 15-22 receiver. Battle Arms Development claims their ambi safety fits up to a .90 thick receiver (Patriot Ordnance Factory).

It's just under an inch wide at the FCG area. Wider than that around the mag well (1 3/16") and even wider at the front takedown pin spring channel/mag release button guard area + 1/8"
 
You plan to put an $85 safety on a $400 rifle? Just saying.... It looks like a nice product, but not work the price. Troy makes a nice one for $55 and there are others out there.

$60 and I wanted to drop one in, not make one. The Troy drops right in?
