Thumbs up New QD Folding GripPod with 2 Pressure Pad mounts

Just got it in the mail today,,, got it of of eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

any way the QD lever locks down tight and the push button to fold it locks it folded and down,,,,,,,, you rotate the bipod legs to deploy them,,,,, it is also very comfortable in the hand,,, much more so than the standard grip pod that I once owned in the past

It seem to be built very tough and has some weight to it (not excessively so),,, seems like it will last pretty well,,,,

only thing IM changing is the spring that deploys the legs is super strong and hard to return them,, so ill be cutting one coil at a time till I get it where I like it....... All in all IM very happy with it,,,

ask away if there is some thing I didn't answer or a pic of some thing not shown

How sturdy are the bipod legs? I've ordered a grip pod of ebay before and it was total junk. This has me intrigued with the folding feature. Thanks

Is there any wiggle at all when legs are deployed? Looks good.

They seem pretty solid,,, and there is some slight side to side play when rested on the legs,,,,,, but I like that cause it allows me to adjust for cant all on my own,,, but there isn't much wiggle at all,, just a few degrees

thanks for the pictures, I ordered mine last night after seeing your 15-22. I was debating between this type and just a forward grip by itself. After thinking about it i chose this so that my kids can shoot without the weight of the weapon getting to there arms and missing the target. Its all about fun for them at this age, also helps zeroing in your sights.

GripPod the company does not make this grip. Notice it doesn't say "GripPod" anywhere in the auction.

Grip Pods

They only make the "standard' one you are talking about, of which.....

...there are many counterfeit clones of the actual GripPod on ebay and of the ones I've seen are of cheaper quality and are flimsier than the original.

All that said, this still looks like an interesting grip, even if it looks like a weird hybrid of the GripPod and a UTG folding grip.

I know,,,,, is a $16 airsoft grip pod that's perfect for our lil .22s that will never see combat or need to be any type of over kill,,,,,

IM sure there are a few other member here who will some day/or have taken there 15-22 out on a hike and honestly hunted with it,,,,, I do and this serves me very well

So I know it will work wonders for most of the shooters here who are limited to a gun range and do not need a battle ready extra heavy duty items

Its
Affordable
Comfortable
Can be folded or quickly removed for storage in a "range" bag
Had bipod built in
Was recommended for a .22lr not a .308 or bigger

This isn't a knock off of any thing,,, its, its own item, different from the rest and the main selling point for me is that not every one has it,,,,,, I like to be a lil different

thanks for the picture. I wanted to see if it's as long as the bipod I have on mine. My son shoots it alot and needs the bipod to stablilze the gun more but the 25 round mag tends to get in the way. With the bipod I have now it's just barely long enough fully extended.

Decided to go with this as well, nice price for one of these, and I really wanted the finger grooves as apposed to the circular grooves. Thanks for the link and pics

So, day 1 of getting this, scratch that, hour one, second time deploying legs, both snapped off! Also this thing is wiggly as all hell. Could have shipped it to florida for a return and waited for another 3 weeks for another from xhina but ended up just taking out the internals, using a bottle cap as a bottom and using it as a storage compartment. Its not complete garbage, but it sure is cheap. Oh and not sure if its the laser or the grip, but the pressure pad does not fit right.

I've had this on mine and used about 1k rounds so far, all from the bench. Haven't had any issues except for the folding button gives me problems. Sometimes I cant get it to disengage and others I cant get it lock when I fold the grip up or down. Other then that I like it.

I bought one based on the recommendations from this thread. For seventeen bucks it is a steal. It is also a cheaply manufactured airsoft accessory. But I knew that so it is OK. If you want a really good one you can pay up to $150.00 for the Israeli Defense version. You’re not going to find that kind of quality for seventeen bucks.
I bought this one to replace my previous “cheap one”. It is the one with the push button to instantly deploy the legs. I see it all over the picture thread, I also saw them on at least seven tables at a gun show last week. They sell for 20 to 30 dollars at the show. Mine was so cheap that after some use the legs started deploying by them self just from firing the gun. Talk about useless…the gun goes bang, bang, bang and the grip goes WHAM, right in your hand!

So…if you want a cheap bipod grip to play with, the one on this thread is far better but not great. It has its downfalls. Mine is not completely tight when folded down. I would also ad it is big and heavy. I have big hands so it works, tiny hands will not like the diameter.

“Golden tickets only come in candy bars, and that was just a movie.”

Any more feedback on this GripPod clone? I bought This One, and it's pretty good, but doesn't fold, so I have to remove it to fit in my rifle bag and it takes up a mag slot.

I'm wondering if the one in this thread would be an upgrade or not for me. I like that it's QD (although the thumb nut isn't that bad on the current one) and mostly that it folds up. So I could keep it in place, folded, in the case, and move my red dot to the mag pouch. But if it's not as sturdy, and not really an upgrade, then no reason to spend the money.

With all the people who responded they were buying, I thought I might get some more feedback.

I bought one also. It feels cheap in the hand but honestly it works just fine! One nice feature is at the range on the bench, when the legs are extended you can use a 25 rd mag! I got this for my son and it works well for him.

I have that one. So far, so good. It seems pretty solid for $30 bucks.

Right, but I'm referring to the $17 one with link and pic at the top of this article. I HAVE the one I entered the link to, but it does not have QD or pivot, which I was interested in. Quite a number of people said they'd ordered the original one ($17 at the top of this page), and I was curious what they thought about it.
