So a couple of people's opinions are gospel?
I have been quite pleased with their tactical line on my "plinkers" but would not put them on anything that I really cared about quality, i.e. hunting rifle or self defense gun.
They work well for what they are.

More than a couple.
The point is, for the same money, there are better alternatives. Bushnell, Primary Arms, etc.
It's like buying a DPMS or a Bushmaster when you could get a Colt or a BCM for about the same money.
Makes no sense.

It all depends on the intended purpose of the rifle IMO. If it's a cheap plinker, then i see no problem with NCStar.
Like I said above, if it's for "protection" or hunting, then I would go better quality.
We all know you get what you pay for, and sometimes cheaper is better for the situation at hand.

Have had my ncstar for 2 years now. My gun is used for hunting squirrel and groundhog. 0 issues.
