New owner-1 complaint
I did my homework, decided on the M&P 15-22,got it yesterday. I'm more used to larger caliber guns....This thing is a LOT of fun
My complaint is.....soooo much brass in the yard, and so small (like I said, used to larger) it's hard to find in the grass!
I guess if that's the only complaint I've got,I'm a lucky man....

You are quite fortunate, around here along with a yard full of brass we would have a couple of the town's finest law enforcement officers likely with guns drawn. Got to love NJ, land of the free.....

I bought one is works at an extent some just fall out the side. But at least it would be in one focused area.

My Dad suggested a metal detector....also I've started standing next to my (6') firepit-that's where we throw all the brass we find-one day I'll have the only brass lined fire pit we know of

I shoot most of my auto loaders off my deck which holds the brass until pickup. The planks are close enough that even 22 brass doesn't fall thru.
See, now you have a good reason to build a deck.

Buy a cheap tarp and stake it down. You can even use small poles to hold the sides up and everything will roll to the center (use a couple bricks in the center if it's too windy). Then just "heard" them all to the brass bucket when you're done shooting.
If using a benchrest, you can make a catcher out of a cardboard box too.
