Default !st Shooting Session Today

1st time out with the 15-22 today with my little girl. great fun. I really am not crazy about the handguard, I like the Magpul MOE on my Colt M4 a lot, I'm already thinking conversion. We shot 150 rounds of pretty old Winchester Super X, it shot great except for one stovepipe. The only thing I really didn't like was on one magfull the bolt did not stay open on the last shot and the gun got dry fired. The manual specifically warns agains this, I'm not sure how many time of this to damage the firing pin. Does this ever happen to any of you guys?
