I have slowly started adding some minor accessories to my 15-22 as I would like to keep it somewhat simple.

I have a fore-grip, front end sling attachment and the condor adjustable 2-point sling.

The only thing I "need" to add is a decent red-dot sight. I have thought about holding out and paying a little extra for the Bushnell TRS-25 which I have heard is a great sight for the price point.

I was in one my LGS during lunch today and got look at the Firefield Micro Close Combat Red Dot Sight sight. They let me turn it on and really check it out. It seemed to have a strong and clear dot (in both red & green) but I have not been able to find any reviews on this specific sight.

Has anyone used one, own one or know much about it? If so, I would like to hear your thoughts prior to getting it. (it's between $49 - $59)

Thanks!

I've never used that one but my advice is to spend an extra $50 for a quality sight by a known brand. I've had friends that have bought the Barska red dots, etc. only to have them break or be woefully unimpressed. Lots of threads on red dot sights lately so do a quick search. If you want a more comprehensive (and professional) review on the sight in question, use this link.

Thanks for the laugh... yeah, I tried that already and most of the sights I came across had zero reviews for that specific site which is why I turned to this forum. I guess I should learn my lesson about taking advice from wise guys. :D

Can not go wrong with a TRS-25. I just put one on my MarkIII and love it.

Look at the truglo red dot sights around a 100.00 look good and work good and you can get one that is 2x mag.i have one and like it a lot.

I can't say enough about primary arms red dots. I have a multi-reticle on my 15-22 and AR-15 and love them. They can be had for around $80. They are well built, use AA batteries, and hold zero.
