Anyone added a Magpul enhanced rubber buttpad?
I received one today and added the Magpul rubber buttpad to the MOE stock on my 15-22. It didnt sit flush and as I was checking it the rubber section just separated from polymer section that screws into the stock. Anyone else has this problem?

If it doesn't fit the stock, something is wrong ... either with the butt pad or the installation itself. It's a pretty foolproof installation - remove the old pad, insert the tabs in the slots, press into place, insert screws.
Send it to MagPul for a replacement.

I got one off Amazon several weeks ago and it fit fine on my FDE MOE. Either MagPul or the place you bought it from should be able to take care of you.

I have the Mag317-BLK on my MOE and it fits perfectly. Sounds like you have the wrong pad. Maybe one for a CTR ?

I got it off ebay and I think it must be a clone, as it was $10.
I m gonna get one off amazon for $16 for my other stock and compare the difference.

No its the right pad but I think its an immitation. The installation was a breeze but there's two part to the buttpad, and they separated. I just used some pliobond on it to hold em together.

Is the enhanced buttpad supposed to be much softer than the stock one that came with the stock or is it just as stiff except for the little give the cutouts provide?

If you paid $10 for it, it's either used, damaged or a Chinese ripoff. 90 percent of the stuff on eBay marked MagPul is NOT made by MagPul and is junk. One gets what one pays for ...

No, it is not softer. It gives under heavy recoil, though, whereas the .030 and .055 butt pads do not. There will be no noticeable difference on a 15-22.
Most people that add them, me included, do it for the appearance. Nothing the matter with that, as 90 percent of the stuff we add to the rifle is for appearance's sake.

Mine sits flush, I added it for a longer LOP, the 15-22 was a little short for my tastes.

Same here, plus it adds an ounce or two to the light end of the rifle.

You sure it is not because old folks need extra help with the nasty recoil from that powerful 22lr ammo?

Personally, I'd put that lower on the "priority" list.
Looks good, "Butt" why??

a lot of stuff on ebay marked MAGPUL is their airsoft brand that they contracted with chinese companies. the sellers either mask it, or simply fail to mention it. buyer be warned. (and the rest is truly knockoffs.)

To xxspudxx:
I noticed your using an MOE+ Grip with the Wedge insert. What did you do for the wedge to work with that grip? Thanks

Cut all the extra material off below the wedge. Glue it to the grip.
