SWS Charging Handle Latch Review

I wanted to share my thoughts on the new SWS Charging handle latches. I ordered the medium enhanced latch last week and received it in just a couple of days. Very fast shipping! I installed it on my Tacticool22 charging handle . This latch is the perfect match for the tacticool22 handle. If you are a user of the BMC Gunfighter charge handle, like myself, you will find that this is as close to a Gunfighter as you will get for our 15-22's. They look and feel very similar. The quality of the SWS latch is superb. It just has a nice, high quality feel and appearance to it. I don't know what the regular price will be for these but, at the $25.00 intro price, I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed .

Hell yeah been wanting a bcm type latch for my 15-22 handle. Thanks for posting. One question I ordered the large and have the medium on my bcm. Any idea which sws latch is closest to the bcm medium latch? I'm thinking I should've ordered the medium.

compared his picture to my BCM Mod4 and it looks close... you prolly should of gotten the medium

I have not shipped your order yet, do you want to switch to the medium latch instead? Which ever latch you go with, if you want to swap them out just let me know.

Thanks for asking, but after looking at the pictures I think I'll stick with the large latch. Thanks for the awesome customer service!

I think the large latch is probably closest to the feel of the medium BCM ,which I run on my AR, but, since the 15-22 handle is smaller than a standard AR handle, I went with the medium latch to keep things more to scale. I would have been happy with either to be honest. I don't think you can make a wrong decision on these. Thanks again SWS !

Sounds like it was routed to the wrong post office. They should reroute it back to you. It will probably take another couple of days before you see it.

Dang that was quick! Received my large latch today and installed it on the factory handle. Very nice piece and very easy to install. It's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to the Medium BCM latch the large SWS is slightly bigger. I feel like the BCM medium latch might be too small now haha.

Agreed!!!

Very quick shipping, and a nice piece of work, BRAVO sir!!

Including a new roll pin and the cheater was nice, made installation a breeze. (didn't have to fight the latch spring

)
