Larue R.A.T. stock fitment?

I'm going back and forth with a rep at Larue and he's telling me their stocks, namely the R.A.T. stock will not fit the 15-22, even though it's mil spec. Has anyone tried any of their stocks on their MP15-22? Or is the rep correct that our rifle truly is commercial spec?
