Man I love impulse buying, just ordered mine as I really need this 50rd mag to go with all the 10 and 25rd mags that I already have. lol Great deal though.

Not to be a troll or inflammatory, but when a 25 round mag is less than $20 (sometimes less than $15) why would a $40 50 round drum be such a hot item? Is it for the compliant states?
With the 25rd mags I can carry 5 in my rifle case pockets. The drum....not so.

It's less about being practical and more about being fun.
When 22 ammo was readily available, I used to do mag dumps with one of these drums and a slidefire stock. Great fun.

It's more of a because you can instead of a because it's practical.
because you can
Yeah I want to pull the trigger on a couple of these, but am going to hold out and get a magpul drum for big brother instead.

Because Merica. But honestly, I enjoy the drum simply because it isn't too bulky and it allows me twice the capacity of a 25 rd mag.
With it's normal price of $80 I wouldn't dream of it, but $40 really isn't too bad.
Plus they are probably a blast with a slidefire type stock. And I doubt ban complaint states would allow a 50rd drum.

Interesting Info on Black Dog
I assume it is OK to post this info, if not an Admin can deal with it. If you go to the "About US" link on the Black Dog site, at the bottom of the page is the following info.
"The Black Dog Machine product line is up for acquisition.
Serious inquiries please e-mail [email protected].
Customers- Do not worry or hesitate buying our products because of this message. Please know that products, quality, service, warranties, will remain the same if there are any changes in ownership in the future."
This may be old news, I am just passing it on.

I did the same thing. Been wanting a Slidefire for a while. Hard to beat the current price. Also ordered a TRS-25 red dot for it. Plus another 1,300 rds of .22lr. I think I need to stop now.

I would love to have that in my AR-10. If you buy the Slidefire kit with the CMC and wanted to sell your current trigger, I would be interested.

Great price! These were a steal when Midway had them for $50 around this time last year. Hard to resist the temptation to grab a couple of them.

Funds are tight with me saving for another Daniel Defense, but I wouldn't sell my Geiselle SSA, it's just too nice a trigger. I highly recommend it.

Do you have to register as a user on their website to get the coupon? I applied the coupon code and zip code and it did not change the price. Hope I didn't miss this by one day...Nevermind. It worked! Sorry.
