AI is really getting dangerous & scary!

kind of like believing everything someone posts on the internet, without any references or way to check

Well we used to watch the 6 o'clock news and now they expect us to watch 24 hours of news every day. That should tell you something. Remember [the sky is falling].

I hope you don't take offense -- really, none intended -- but I find it humorously ironic in this thread about false information being spread by AI. The fact is, Sherlock Holmes never said that in any of the stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle. Perhaps that line was in one of the many movie and TV adaptations of Sherlock Holmes stories, I don't know, but it was not in any of the originals.

It’s bad enough when political appointees and bureaucrats who’ve never owned a car let alone drove one make regulations regarding automobiles. So when people who’ve never seen a 60-70s American performance car beyond a video game decide to make “expert” videos on American muscle, it really gets me irritated.

And an AI search will prove it!

When A.I. is finally able to make the eyers and fingers perfect, then we can expect dangerous situations to come.
I know some may be able to tell the difference already but when it is perfected === watch out.

We are already there in practice. AI can already fool the detection software by reproducing the heartbeat and subtle skin surface color changes that occur during a heartbeat event.

That was one of the last easy ‘tells.’
