Original 15-22 vs 15-22 Sport
I tore into both rifles for comparison last night. They are very similar. Trigger pull is a little over 5 lbs for each of my rifles. They pull identically. The extractor does not appear to be different. The new rifle is going to be very popular with its given MSRP. Here is the video comparison I did of both.

Wow dude, what an incredible video. Literally perfect.
You answered EVERY question I had in the back of my mind right as it came to the front. Thanks for your detailed video work and shallow depth of field shots.
You're the freaking man.

I really appreciate it. Sweet rifle. Here is the range video I made from yesterday.
Plinker Tactical mags work fine. The uppers are interchangeable between OG and Sport. Appears to have the same issue with the bolt catch releasing very easily with too strong of a bolt catch spring. Though easily fixed. Temperamental Last Shot Hold Open? Post #4

I've never really looked for a barrel shroud, but make sure that you use a barrel vise instead of a standard AR15 upper receiver vise block to remove the flash hider.

I have had great luck with this one:
FAKE SUPPRESSOR | Brownells
I like the fact you can use it as a barrel shroud or turn it around for that full length barrel / suppressor look. Also you can actually clean the crown / muzzle of the barrel without removing it when used as a shroud.

Picked up new 15-22 Sport today. Took it to the gun shop range after oiling the bolt carrier. Sighted in quickly. Trigger is sweet. Ran about 100 rds with no issues. Light and really like the new forend/handguard, glad they changed that out. Installing Hogue buttstock and pistol grip and Next Level Ambi charging handle.
