Hey everyone,

Looking for a light w/mount combo that doesn't break the bank that I'd s good option to mount on the 15-22.....

Any suggestion would be great.

Thanks

UTG makes a light that comes with two different bodies. One is a conventional flashlight body, the other is a mount that mounts to a picatinny rail. It uses 2 or 3 cr123 batteries. They also make a rail that attached through the vent holes in the handguard. The light has a pressure switch attachment. The whole thing should be around $50.00 or less.

I will have to look that up. I'm looking for budget concious, low profile, simple mounted light.

I got a Thrunite TN15 bundle that has everything you need on Amazon for $90 a couple months ago, I use it on my 15-22 and my 5.56 rifles and it works great!

I went with a surefire tactical 1" tube flash light MSRP 100 I paid 25 on base from a discount bin. I matched it with a FAS-2 1" flashlight holder with a solar force pressure switch. I paid 30 for the mount switch and hardware but I bet its worth a lot more its a quality piece.

Works great for spotting rabbits at night through the scope. ;)

I have had several lights and if I ever did it again I would go with an Infrared light and buy a night vision monocular and put it behind a night vision red dot. Just cause....

How much light do you need? I use a Viking tactics polymer mount with either a Streamlight PT2L or a PT1L, It is a very small, light weight option with limited out put, but enough for close range .22 jobs.
